A 30-year road: from origins to international recognition

IIMB is one of the oldest private universities in Belarus, founded in 1993. The path from the “Private Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship” to the “International Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship” reflects its steady development and entry into the global level. A key step was the partnership in 2022 with China’s largest educational corporation, Hope Education Group, which opened up new horizons for international educational projects. Today, the Institute is a modern educational institution with an indefinite license from the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, confirming its reliability and high quality of education.

IIMB has created a multi-level system of personnel training: from bachelor’s degree to doctoral degree, including professional retraining and advanced training programs.

Bachelor’s degree programs

The Institute trains highly sought-after specialists in three main areas:

Law studies (qualification “Lawyer”): specialty “Jurisprudence” with specialization “Legal support of business”. An ideal choice for those who want to become an expert in legal support of business activities.
Business administration (qualification “Manager-economist”): specialty with specialization “Business administration in the field of production and services”. This program trains versatile managers who understand all aspects of doing business.
Management (qualification “Manager. The Economist”): specialty with specialization “Management (information)”. A program at the intersection of management and IT that graduates specialists capable of leading in the digital age.

Master’s and postgraduate studies

For those who aspire to a top-level scientific and managerial career, IIMB offers master’s degree programs in Economics, Management, Finance and Logistics. The postgraduate school trains scientific personnel in the specialty “Economics and management of the national economy”.

Scientific activity

The Institute is actively engaged in scientific research, which is of practical importance for the Belarusian economy. The research topic for 2021-2025 is “Theory and practice of business entities in an innovative economy.” Among the key areas: human and institutional capital in the digital economy, financial management efficiency, current issues of law-making and law enforcement.

International cooperation

The institute confirms the status of “International” by deed. IIMB is actively expanding its partnerships by participating in international conferences and forums. Students of the Institute can participate in events such as the International Youth Forum “Creativity and Innovation”, as well as in innovative project competitions with the support of the State Committee for Science and Technology.
